Download entry list – Please check this list carefully (including entry times) and if there are any errors or, if you are listed as No Time, but would like to include an estimated training time supplied by your coach for seeding purposes, please let me know by Midday tomorrow (Wednesday 22nd November).
Due to unforeseen circumstances, and in order to ensure that the Meet achieves Qualifying Meet Status for Official Times, we are now unable to run the Meet as planned on Friday 10th November.
The new proposed date is Friday 24th November, subject to confirmation of Pool availability. All times and other details, except the closing date for entries, remain the same. The entry closing date is now 6pm Monday 20th November (unless the Meet reaches capacity prior to this).
Swimmers who have entered for the 10th November via Swim Central DO NOT need to enter again. Please note, that those who entered the 10th November Meet will not be able to see their entry in the list of Events Attending after 10th November.
Swimmers already entered in the Meet, who are unable to compete on the new date, should email entries@midlands-swimming.org.au to arrange a refund of the entry fee.
Midlands District apologises for any inconvenience that this might cause, but it was felt that swimmers would prefer to have the Meet rescheduled and have the opportunity to achieve a qualifying time that counts. 1500m is a long way to swim if you are not receiving an “Official Time” at the end of the swim.
Please contact Jo Peters, entries@midlands-swimming.org.au , 0438 823 965 if you have any questions or queries.
Open to all SAL registered swimmers. MDASA reserve the right to close entries early to accommodate time constraints. In the event of the Meet being oversubscribed, Midlands District swimmers will be given priority.
To ensure that this meet is recognised as a Qualifying Meet a minimum of two timekeepers will be required for each lane, it would be appreciated if each swimmer could provide at least one timekeeper.
